Community Blood Drive

The Health Museum in partnership with the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center will hold a Community Blood Drive to alleviate some of the ongoing need created by COVID-19 in the local region. The community blood drive will take place on Friday, August 27, 2021, 12 p.m. – 4:30 p.m., at The Health Museum – located at 1515 Hermann Drive, Houston, Texas 77004. by appointment only. To make an appointment, residents can visit commitforlife.org and use Sponsor Code K008. 
 
Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center and The Health Museum are working together during this pandemic to save lives. The Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center needs 800 to 1,000 daily donations to be able to provide blood and blood products to 170 hospitals and health care institutions in the local region. 
 
Each donor will receive a free pint of Blue Bell ice cream in appreciation of their blood donation.
