Crime Stoppers of Houston's 2nd Annual Backpack Distribution

Crime Stoppers of Houston will host its 2nd Annual Backpack Distribution on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, starting at 10:30 a.m. at the Crime Stoppers Headquarters. Through support from many in our caring community, Crime Stoppers will provide 2,000 FREE clear backpacks filled with essential school supplies to students in the Greater Houston Area. In addition to the backpacks, parents/caregivers will receive a bag filled with critical safety resources on back-to-school related safety, situational awareness, bullying, cyber safety, sextortion, fentanyl poisoning prevention plan and more. 

Backpacks will be handed out on a first-come, first-serve basis and students must be present to claim a backpack. No pre-registration required. The event will be a drive-through distribution and cars must enter the parking lot through the Fannin entrance.
