Dog Fest

Join Houston Pets Alive! on May 14 from 2-6 p.m. with your family and friends of all ages (human and dog) at Powder Keg for local beer, food trucks, vendors, prizes, photo opps, and a "Goodest Dog" competition judged by local celebrities! It's a great way to have a fun-filled day (whether or not you have a pet) while also saving Houston’s homeless dogs and cats! Houston Pets Alive! (HPA!) is a premier 501(c)3 animal rescue whose mission is “to save the lives of at-risk companion cats and dogs and find them loving homes.” HPA! has partnered with the new energy provider GoodCharlie to kick off the inaugural “Dog Fest.” HPA! knows that saving lives is a community effort, and they are committed to saving the lives that others won’t.
 
The vision of HPA! is to see a world where every dog and cat has a forever home and has designed robust programs that educate current and future pet owners about adopting, fostering, and volunteering, and donating. The organization also encourages pet owners to be active in supporting their community and help make Houston a stray-free city.
Inaugural Dog Fest celebration:

• Craft beverages
• Dog adoptions
• Silent auction and raffles
• Multiple areas for photo fun

HPA! will be joined by many local celebrities and their Insta-famous dogs, including Charlie (@iamgoodcharlie), Bubbles (@khbubbles), Bella Boone (@bellakess) and Baloo the Bunny Eared Bully (@bully.baloo), Julie Keck and Jackson the Dalmation (@jackson_the_dalmatian), Mia and Pippa Poms (@jackson_the_dalmatian), and many more.
