Earth Day Celebration at Memorial Park

We are excited to invite you to our Earth Day celebration at Memorial Park’s Eastern Glades! Join us from 6pm on April 22nd, 2023, for an evening filled with educational activities for kids, delicious food trucks and a children’s story time. Once the sun sets there will be a screening on the nature documentary Deep in the Heart, focusing on the incredible nature found throughout the state of Texas.

At Memorial Park we are committed to preserving and protecting our natural environment. Our team of dedicated staff and volunteers work tirelessly to maintain the park’s biodiversity, reduce waste, and promote sustainable practices. We believe that everyone has a role to play in creating a healthier planet. By coming together to celebrate Earth Day, we hope to inspire and encourage others to appreciate the oasis of nature that we have in the center of Houston, and throughout the rest of the world.
