Evelyn's Bark: Dog Day at the Park
Evelyn's Park Conservancy recently announced its first Evelyn’s Bark: Dog Day at the Park, to be held at Evelyn's Park at 4400 Bellaire Blvd, on Saturday, April 18, 2015 from 12-3 p.m. This event is being co-sponsored with the City of Bellaire.
Dog Day at the park is a fun, family- and pet-friendly event for all ages. It is an opportunity for families to visit Evelyn's Park with the family dog(s) and participate in free play, have lunch and visit local community vendors. All money raised will benefit the park. Admission is free and open to the public, while food will be available for purchase. Donations of dog food and items for local food shelters are welcome. Participating booths and sponsors have donated giveaways and several prizes to be awarded to guests by the Conservancy.
The first 100 families to arrive will receive a “Rover Pass” for either one free day of lodging, or one free day of doggy day care from sponsor Rover Oaks. Additional giveaways include pet-friendly items, and gift certificates from local restaurants that allow pet paws on their patios.
