Family Safety Day

Join us for this free, fun, family-friendly event located in Bellaire Town Square! 

Watch as the Bellaire Fire Department demonstrates vehicle extrication, and fire safety that includes fire extinguisher training and a smoke house simulator. Participate in the Bellaire Police Department’s Bicycle Rodeo, and learn about the effects of impaired driving. Both events will take place on South Rice and will begin at 9 and 10:15 a.m., respectively. Limited spots are available, so please register by emailing [email protected] or by calling 713-662-8103.

Be sure to stop by at 11:30 to see the Memorial Hermann Life Flight helicopter land on South Rice Avenue! Additional booths will offer information on hurricane preparedness and other important City services. Several City vehicles will be on display and a bounce house and face painter will be available for children. Free food and drinks, provided by Wal-Mart, will be served by our firefighters from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

All activities are free and educational for all ages.
