Fulfilling Families Luncheon

Hosted on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at The Briar Club, Arms Wide Adoption Services’ annual Fulfilling Families Luncheon furthers our mission of transforming the lives of children in foster care who are in need of safe and nurturing permanent families. Registration opens at 11:30 AM and the program begins at noon.

This year, we are excited to welcome Gaelin Elmore as our Luncheon Keynote Speaker. After spending over ten years in foster care, Gaelin was faced with a decision after his father was arrested in 2012: go back into foster care or drop out of school and run away. Luckily, there was another option. His high school football coach and his family invited him to live with them. Two years later, Gaelin signed to play at the University of Minnesota, which ultimately led him to an NFL contract with the Cincinnati Bengals. Gaelin retired from the NFL as a rookie to begin his journey of self-love, self-discovery, and belonging. That journey has led Gaelin to stages across the country, aiming to inspire, encourage, and equip others to erase the belonging gap plaguing youth with backgrounds similar to his own.
