Garrison Brothers Dinner at Georgia James
Calling all whiskey lovers! Georgia James is collaborating with Garrison Brothers Distillery, the first legal distillery in Texas and the first outside of Kentucky to produce authentic, handmade bourbon whiskey, to host a multicourse dining experience on Wednesday, September 6 at 6:30 pm. Join us for a cocktail with passed apps on the rooftop lounge followed by a three-course whiskey pairing dinner that incorporates the flavors of Garrison Brothers whiskey created by executive chef Greg Peters. The family-style menu includes:
Passed hors d'oeuvres: Red fish ceviche tostadas, Copano Uno oysters with cantaloupe granita, and blue crab hushpuppies with roasted jalapeño tartar sauce
Welcome cocktail: The Dew Drop (Garrison Brothers Honeydew Bourbon, salted melon, herbal honey bitters and sparkling water)
First course: Peach barbecue glazed Texas quail, savory herb spaetzle, and braised radicchio
Pairing with Garrison Brothers Small Batch Bourbon
Second course: 44 Farms barbacoa short rib, salsa verde braised wild boar shanks, tamale pie, and charred cabbage with Valentina vinaigrette
Pairing: Garrison Brothers Single Barrel Bourbon
Dessert: Sopapillas glazed with bourbon cinnamon honey
Pairing: Garrison Brothers Balmorhea
