The Great Futures Dinner

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston (BGCGH) presents The Great Futures Dinner  honoring the Houston Rockets. This is the nonprofit’s premier annual fundraising event, generating substantial funds in support of the 23 Clubs in the Greater Houston region that serve more than 22,000 children and teens annually with outstanding afterschool and summer programming. This event includes silent and live auctions, special appeal, performance by youth, and a panel to include a player and management representative from the Houston Rockets. The Great Futures Dinner is a showcase to the Houston community on how BGCGH positively impacts thousands of young people’s lives every day and helps them achieve great futures.

Chairmen of the event are Melinda Thigpen and Jeremy Thigpen. Honorary Chairs are Janice Brown and Tad Brown and Sarah Joseph. Also in attendance will be Mike D’Antoni, Houston Rockets Head Coach; Daryl Morey, Houston Rockets General Manager; and Clyde Drexler, Hall of Famer and Rockets Legend.

The Silent Auction and Reception begins at 5:30 p.m. and dinner and the program begins at 7 p.m. Attire is business or cocktail.
