The Houston Arboretum & Nature Center presents the annual Pup Crawl & Pet Expo on Sunday, Oct. 10, which is turning spooky this year with a Halloween-themed outdoor experience. Guests are encouraged to bring their furry friends in creative costumes for a chance to win fun prizes while exploring the Arboretum trails and enjoying brews from Saint Arnold Brewing Company. This is a perfect activity for the entire family. You can also interact with local pet vendors at the expo and take home a commemorative Pup Crawl glass.

Proceeds support the conservation and education programs of the Houston Arboretum and BARC, the City of Houston’s animal shelter and adoption center. Pet adoptions will also be available onsite.

The Arboretum asks that all pets be leashed for the safety of guests and other dogs during the event. Besides Pup Crawl, people are welcome to bring their dogs on leashes to explore the sights, sounds and smells of the Arboretum’s five miles of trails, open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to dusk.

All activities will be held outdoors. Please do not attend the event if you are feeling unwell, have COVID-19 symptoms, are positive for COVID-19, or have been in contact with someone who is positive for COVID-19. While masks are not required for our outdoor events, please practice social distancing along the trails. Thank you for helping us keep our community safe!
