Handel & Vivaldi at Wortham Theater Center

Soprano Lauren Snouffer (a graduate of Rice University's Shepherd School of Music) returns to the Mercury Chamber Orchestra for a program that pairs vocal beauty with virtuosic instrumental works. The concert will feature Antoine Plante as Conductor and Jonathan Godfrey on Violin.

The Mercury Chamber Orchestra has selected a program of works that will remind you of some of the most famous operatic and instrumental works of baroque composers – works like Handel’s Messiah and Vivaldi’s Four Seasons.
