Harvey Healing Days - Resiliency Celebration

The Harvey Arts Recovery Project (HARP) is the partnering of local creative arts therapists, community artists/musicians, and figures within several not-for-profits, government, and arts organizations throughout the City of Houston and the nation. These entities came together to collaborate and aid one another in the recovery and relief of fellow Houstonians in the wake of Hurricane Harvey. Harvey Healing Days includes a series of days that host 90-minute sessions filled with positive ways for first responders, evacuees and anyone affected to cope and express their feelings through music, art making, and movement.

As we approach the one-year anniversary of Harvey, we want to celebrate the resiliency of our city with the Harvey Healing Days Resiliency Celebration.

Come create, play, and learn with local artists and musicians as we celebrate the resiliency of our city!

Collaborators: Chinese Community Center, Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center, Salvation Army Family Center, Ukulele Kids Club Inc., Luthiers for a cause, Fredrix Print Canvas, American Music Therapy Association Inc., Young Audiences-Arts for Learning, Stars of Hope, Garth Brooks Teammates for Kids Foundation and Golden Artist Colors.
