HSPVA Dance Inspired by Solstice

Solstice by Studio Iregular, located at Discovery Green's Brown Promenade, places the audience in a space of ever-changing colors and soundscapes created by frames, mirrors, and a central sun. The art installation is open through Feb. 14, 2023. 

Sponsored by PNC Bank, Kinder High School for the Performing Arts Dance Students perform a dance created especially for Solstice, the art installation at Discovery Green. Guest choreographer, Laura Gutierrez, will work with students to create a new piece responding to the site and the Solstice art installation. Gutierrez is a highly regarded performing artist and choreographer. See a video here.
