IMpowered Voices

 

IMpower, the women’s initiative of Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston, is hosting IMPowered Voices, a virtual conversation with three empowering women positively impacting the Greater Houston community. Topics will include the intersection of race, identity and culture in Houston, health care inequities, and the beauty of "welcoming the stranger."

Speakers will include Dr. Ann Barnes, Chief Health Officer for Harris Health System in Greater Houston, Jaundréa Clay, a Houston Chronicle senior copy editor and manager and curator of HouWeAre, an HC newsletter that spotlights the intersection of race, identity and culture in Houston, and Farrah Moussallati Sibai, President and co-founder of Afia, a food company dedicated to making authentic Mediterranean cuisine more accessible to Americans and empowering women and children to pursue their best selves.
