Increasing Diversity in STEM Luncheon
Please join Children at Risk for their annual STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) luncheon at the Children's Museum of Houston which will focus on increasing diversity in STEM fields. Speakers will discuss how to introduce STEM in a child's earliest years and engage them throughout their academic career to prepare our future workforce to meet the needs of STEM fields. Increasing diversity also means increasing access so that every child has an opportunity to fall in love with STEM regardless of age, gender, income or race.
Open to all community members interested in STEM, diversity, education, and workforce development. Pre-registration is required.
