Levy Park Conservancy presents The Incredibles for Family Movie Night
Come on out for Family Movie Night at Levy Park on May 25, sponsored by Texas Children’s Hospital. From Pixar and Walt Disney come The Incredibles. Once one of the world's top masked crime fighters, Bob Parr – known to all as "Mr. Incredible" – fought evil and saved lives on a daily basis. Now 15 years later, Bob and his wife Helen - a famous superhero in her own right - have adopted civilian identities and retreated to the suburbs to live normal lives with their three kids. He’s a bored, clock-punching insurance claims adjuster with a bulging waistline. Itching to get back into action, Bob gets his chance when a mysterious communication summons him to a remote island for a top-secret assignment. You should recognize the voices of Craig T. Nelson (Bob) and Holly Hunter, (Helen) as well as Samuel L. Jackson and Jason Lee.
Family Movie Night is on the last Friday of each month. The crowd is invited to dress in their favorite superhero costume. No outside furniture is allowed, but blankets or park chairs can be used.
