Mardi Gras! Galveston

The largest Mardi Gras celebration in Texas and the 114th celebration kicks off Friday, Feb. 21, bringing two incredible weekends of parades, live entertainment, balcony parties, and family-friendly fun to Galveston’s historic downtown district. The first weekend’s celebration starts with the George P. Mitchell Mardi Gras Award Honoree Parade and continues with a packed entertainment lineup featuring legendary acts like Bret Michaels, La Fiera de Ojinaga, and more. The event happens rain or shine—so grab your beads and dancing shoes and join the excitement!
