Mindfulness: Mini Meditation Retreat
This 3 session retreat will focus on helping us to develop a deeper experience of mindfulness and concentration in meditation. Through improving our meditation technique we will find that our meditations produce more powerful results.
The purpose of meditation is to concentrate our mind, then we are able to develop our own inner power to control our mind. Without control of our mind or thoughts we are at the mercy of painful feelings. We don’t ever choose to have painful thoughts or feelings, yet they come. We do not choose to stay with our painful thoughts, yet they remain. We can see from our own experience, we need mastery over our mind.
Join us for this three-session mini retreat and develop your meditation practice further. Joining our Thursday meditation practice classes, which are held weekly, will help you prepare for the retreat. Attendance in the Thursday classes is not necessary. The retreat will be available for 7 days after the original broadcast.
