Movie in the Tre

Emancipation Park Conservancy kicks off its free Movie in the Tre series with House Party 2 on Friday, March 6, 2020 \at Emancipation Park in the grand lawn area near Elgin Street. The 2019 inaugural series was a major success and has become a staple event for the park.

March is Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Awareness Month. It is an annual, nationwide celebration that honors and recognizes the African American college experience including important HBCU figures that have helped shape these institutions of higher education while also unifying HBCU communities. House Party 2 follows the experiences of students navigating their first year of college.
