OMG Festival

Stages invites Houstonians to join them for the company’s first OMG Festival, short for Outdoor Movies at The Gordy, Friday, September 10 through Sunday, September 12, on The Brown Foundation Lawn at The Gordy. Each evening will include a featured film kicking off with 10 Things I Hate About You, followed by Deliver Us from Eva, and last but not least, The Lion King for family audiences. 

This fun-filled weekend is an homage to Millennial culture and the movie adaptations that this generation made classics. In addition to these Shakespeare-inspired cult classic films from the ‘90s, OMG Fest will feature an array of lawn games including cornhole, giant Connect Four and Jenga; a bad sonnet competition; food trucks; a photo booth; social media lounge and local vendors.

Friday, September 10 at 8 p.m. – 10 Things I Hate About You (Rated PG-13) 
Saturday, September 11 at 8 p.m. –  Deliver Us from Eva (Rated R) 
Sunday, September 11 at 7 p.m. – The Lion King (Rated G) 

The Lawn opens at 6:00 p.m.
