Permission Whiskey's Third Annual Kentucky Derby Party

Permission Whiskey, Houston’s elegant bourbon and whiskey bar on White Oak Drive, will host its third annual Kentucky Derby party on Saturday, May 6. Staying true to owner Peter Nolan’s Kentucky roots, Permission has become the Houston destination for a true Churchill Downs experience. Guests at the annual soiree will be getting “Down and Derby” as they celebrate the biggest horse race of the year at Houston’s most authentic Derby party.

This year’s Derby celebration will feature a broadcast of the race, live music, trumpet player, Derby-themed roses, a festive hat contest and other surprises to truly capture the experience of the Kentucky Derby. Fresh mint julep cocktails will be flowing, and Maker’s Mark® will be on site giving away branded swag to encourage guests to celebrate the Kentucky Derby with the iconic brand.

The event is scheduled for 12-7 p.m. General admission tickets can be purchased for $20 in-person at Permission Whiskey, 2920 White Oak Dr. Cocktail included with advanced purchase.
