Public Candlelight Vigil

The City of Houston will host a public candlelight vigil in remembrance of the victims of the Orlando shooting rampage.

In a sign of respect and support, Houston City Hall will be lit with LGBT pride colors in the evening hours through June 26, 2016, the last day of Houston's Pride weekend.

Mayor Turner is in communication with Acting Houston Police Chief Martha Montalvo about HPD's plans for addressing safety concerns during Houston's Pride weekend.
