Step into a world of wonder as the Texas Renaissance Festival brings its magic to the Museum for a day of royal encounters, fantastical performances, and creative fun. From playful nobles and whimsical fairies wandering the galleries, to lively shows and hands-on activities for young adventurers, visitors of all ages will find surprises around every corner.
Guests may even enjoy a special sneak peek with Festival cast members, featuring unique appearances and giveaways while supplies last!

The Royal Court Encounters: Wander the Museum alongside the playful company of the Texas Renaissance Festival as nobles, fairies, and fantastical characters surprise and delight visitors of all ages.
When: From 10 am to 3 pm around the Museum
Renaissance Revels with the King: Experience a royal presentation as the King of the Texas Renaissance Festival shares timeless Renaissance values and lively activities in a spirited, theatrical set.
When: At 11:30 am and 1:30 pm in Brown Auditorium
Puppets & Dragons – Choose Your Own Adventure: Join a thrilling quest in this interactive Dungeons and Dragons-inspired puppet show where you’ll help choose the adventure and guide the heroes through a medieval tale of magic and mystery!
When: At 10:30 am, 12:30 and 2:30 pm in Brown Auditorium
Faerie and Elf Masks Workshops: Craft your own magical mask fit for fairytale adventures!
Limit 15 participants ages 3+; sign up at Design Studio. Please note all sign ups open 1hr prior to the start time
When: At the top of every hour from 10 am to 3 pm in Design Studio
Face Painters: Enter the realm of imagination as skilled artists create vibrant designs and whimsical characters fit for a royal revel!
When: From 10 am to 2 om in Kids' Hall Alcove
