ROCO Connections: Simple Gifts

ROCO’s Connections Series continues on February 10 as we give thanks for collaboration in “Simple Gifts,” bringing us to a new location at Rothko Chapel!

Led by conductor Delyana Lazarova, experience Aaron Copland’s iconic tone poem Appalachian Spring in its original 13-piece version, paired with a World Premiere ROCO Commission by Season 18 Composer-In-Residence Adam Schoenberg, composed as a companion work scored for the same forces. Houston Contemporary Dance Company, led by Founding Artistic Director Marlana Doyle, joins us for Schoenberg’s new work, premiering a new piece.
