Scrubs 4 Scrubs: St. Mark's Episcopal School Fundraiser for The Beacon

St. Mark's Episcopal School eighth graders are hosting "Scrubs 4 Scrubs" car wash at St. Mark's Episcopal School. Eighth graders visit The Beacon, an outreach ministry for the homeless at Christ Church Cathedral, Houston. The Beacon provides laundry services to the homeless, and while their clothes are being washed, patrons wear borrowed scrubs.

When they volunteered at The Beacon, several students saw a need for more scrubs and decided to take action, by organizing a car wash, where students will accept scrubs or other toiletries as payment. Read more about this project.
