Between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. you can use the self-guided experience on both floors.
- Visit the Gardens | Outside, you’ll find art-making activities, special visitors, and exploration stations related to history, nature, and springtime.
- Art Activity: Nature Rubbings | Make art with rubbing plates that show leaves, flowers, insects, and animal footprints that you can find in the gardens. (Location: Diana Terrace)
- Historical Game Zone | Play outdoor games that were popular in early America, such as quoits, graces, jump rope, and shuttlecock. (Location: Diana Garden, near the fountain)
- Perspectives | At stations throughout the grounds, use tools such as kaleidoscopes and magnifying glasses to alter your view of the natural world. Nearby art materials help you interpret what you discover through these new lenses. (Locations: Butterfly Garden, Carla Garden, Clio Garden, and White Garden)
