Symphony Orchestra Concert

AFA presents their 2015 Summer Music Conservatory Series from June 18-July 12. Featuring the best and brightest young musicians and composers from the greater Houston area, these concerts are free and open to the public. Dr. Clifton Evans and Jeffrey Grogan lead the AFA Symphony Orchestra in a program featuring some of the greatest works written for the symphony orchestra with a special appearance by the AFA Faculty Chamber Orchestra.

Repertoire includes: Khachaturian, “Waltz”, “Mazurka” and “Galop” from Masquerade Saint-Saens, “Danse Bachannale” from Samson and Delilah Tchaikovsky, Scherzo from Symphony No. 2 Holst, “Jupiter” from The Planets Tchaikovsky, 1812 Overture Wagner, Siegfried Idyll
