Fast-paced gaming takes center screen at the third annual Galveston Island Esports Summit Aug. 25-27. The Galveston Island Convention Center will be transformed to a hands-on play experience for all ages. 
 
New this year – Pokemon! Attendees can choose to play Pokken, PokemonGo, GYM Leader Battles, Open Plan, and Scarlet/Violet. Registration is required to compete in Pokemon and all Esports tournaments. 
 
Visitors will have a range of choices, spanning virtual reality to gaming tournaments, robot battles to one-on-one immersive battle stations. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with one another, learn from educational panels, and take part in professional and personal development resources. 
 
Gamers will have access to Intel computers at the summit. Summit hours are Friday, 10 – 6, Saturday, 10 – 6, Sunday, 11 – 4. Passes are all inclusive – play all day. Three-day and daily passes are available online at www.galvestonesports.com and day passes will be sold at the door.
