Tour de Houston presented by Apache Corp.

Tour de Houston is an annual bike ride that celebrates the beauty, history, diversity and vibrancy of Houston’s neighborhoods, with all proceeds supporting Houston Parks & Recreation’s Re-Plant Houston urban reforestation initiative.

Registration begins at $55 for adults, and $25 for kids 10 and under and includes an official Tour de Houston t-shirt.

The ride will begin and end at Discovery Green and Avenida Plaza in front of the George R. Brown Convention Center in Downtown Houston and will travel west through Downtown, Memorial Park, Tanglewood, Piney Point Village, Bunker Hill Village, and Briar Forest to Highway 6 before returning to Downtown.

The new route features three distances - a 10-mile Family Route perfectly suited for riders of all ages and ability levels, a 20-mile Intermediate Route that caters to experienced riders and fitness enthusiasts, and a 45-mile Training Ride which is ideal for riders preparing for the MS 150 in late April. The 45-mile route will begin at 8 a.m., the 20-mile route will start at 8:30 and the 10-mile route will take off at 9:00.
