John Duboise was born in Houston and grew up in the Memorial area. He attended Stratford High School and graduated from Trinity University with a degree in philosophy. Prior to joining The Buzz team in 2004, he was a graphic designer at the Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau, Houston Photo Imaging (HPI) and the Gay and Lesbian Yellow Pages. He and his wife and son enjoy the year-round vegetable gardening that our Houston climate provides. He plays clarinet and writes music with an area band, Two Star Symphony.
