Bellaire Fall Fever Fun Run
This past Saturday morning was the Annual Bellaire Fall Fever Fun Run. Parents, kids, and neighbors lined up at the start line on S. Rice right outside of Bellaire High School. There was a children’s 1 mile race and a 5k fun run that looped around the Bellaire neighborhood, skirting Condit Elementary School.
The race had a great turnout, as I recognized teachers, Bellaire students, and also just neighbors from the Bellaire community. Many clubs and teams participated in the fun run. The Bellaire cheerleaders, women’s soccer team and cross country team participated in the race. Volunteers of all ages were glad to be there to help as well.
Near the finish line was a parking lot loaded with booths in support of the race contestants. Reginelli’s Pizza had a mascot at the scene who was very good with the kids, and was giving out free pizza! Many other booths from supporters like Whole Foods and Memorial Hermann were present as well.
The Bellaire Fall Fever Fun Run was a beautiful sight as every participant had smiles on their faces, despite the mild rain. It was great to see members of the Bellaire community out and about and getting their fitness on!
