Event Roundup: What to Look Forward to This Weekend

Santa’s Holiday Market comes to CITYCENTRE on Dec. 18, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. 

Happy Friday! Here are a few events to look forward to this weekend. 

Santa’s Holiday Market

Head to CityCentre Friday morning through 5 p.m. for Santa’s Holiday Market. The market will include a variety of local vendors, gifts, jewelry, art, stocking stuffers and more. Look out for Santa and his sleigh from 12-5 p.m., plus strolling Dickens carolers. See more details.

Santa Hustle

Hustle over to Galveston for the fourth annual Santa Hustle, which starts and ends at Saengerfest Park on Sunday. Race participants will receive a Santa hat and beard along with dri-fit sweatshirts. There’ll be music and sweets along the course. See more details.

Deck the Halls Parade

Spot favorite Dr. Seuss characters marching in this year’s Deck the Halls Parade on Saturday, along with traditional favorite holiday characters. The parade begins on Belrose in front of the old post office, continues down Burlinghall, right on Ashcroft, down Warm Springs, right on Atwell, and back to Belrose. See more details.

Bayou Bend Family Day

The entire family will love Bayou Bend Family Day this Sunday, which includes activities, music, demonstrations, performances, craft workshops and more throughout the home and gardens. See more details.

Houston Boychoir Winter Concert

Enjoy holiday music from the Houston Boychoir on Sunday at First Presbyterian Church. There is a concert at 4 p.m. and another at 7 p.m. See more details.
