Russo’s New York Pizzeria
Russo’s New York Pizzeria was introduced to Houston in 1992. Since then, it has perfected its pizzas by using the wood-fired method of cooking, which creates a crispy, thin crust complemented by fresh ingredients. Such is the case with the meatless, Neapolitan-style Mona Lisa pizza. Sliced buffalo mozzarella cheese, homemade sauce, fresh basil, oregano and olive oil make for tangy flavors. Quick baking creates that thin crust with a softer middle. Classic pasta dishes, including fettucine alfredo, lasagna and cannelloni, are other dishes offered. A beer and wine menu is also available, with a selection of house wines by the glass for $6.50.
