St. Agnes Tennis Team: State Champions

On April 12, the St. Agnes Varsity Tennis team won the TAPPS 5A State Championship for the fourth year in a row. In Singles it was an all St. Agnes State Final between Raquel Lyn, a senior, and Christina Watson, a sophomore.

Racquel Lyn won, which made her the state champion in singles for the fourth year in a row. She will be playing on the tennis team at Dartmouth College next year. Christina Watson was the runner-up for the second year in a row. Taylor Ysaguirre, a senior, and Natalia Nassar, a sophomore, are two-time Doubles state champions. Jennifer Mathieu, a sophomore, and Kendall Couch, a freshman, placed third in doubles.
