Lexie Boudreaux gathered with friends and supporters at The Briar Club, including Beth Smith, Lauren Cancienne, Molly Evans, Lucia Clark and Dawn Persia. Why? Lexie is up for the challenge to become Woman of the Year. She kicked off her campaign at The Briar Club. Each year, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Gulf Coast Chapter launches its Man & Woman of the Year fundraising campaign. The campaign is a competition among the candidates (10 women and nine men from the Houston area) to see who raises the most money. Each dollar raised is considered a vote. Lexie’s beloved grandmother, Anne “Mamoo” Wallace, lost her 7-year battle with stage 4 non-Hodgkin lymphoma last year. See mwoy.org/pages/txg/houston16/lboudreaux.
