The Appolitos, Brewers, Kellers and Lohrs spent the afternoon of New Year’s Eve rooting for the Cougars in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl. Art and JoAnn Keller, Dianne Appolito and Jerry Brewer are all University of Houston alum. 

This group of friends started their day with Fanfest held at The Omni Hotel, which is where the players were staying. They spotted the team getting on the bus to head to the stadium, which was a special moment for them. 

After four “grueling” hours of watching the game, the friends continued their victory celebration at the Four Seasons, and then enjoyed New Year’s Eve dinner together at Ray’s in the City. 

What a way to ring in the New Year! Go, Coogs!
