The river cruise for Liz and Steve LaPorte and their Chicago friends started in Prague. They sailed down the Danube through Germany, Austria and Hungary via Vienna. All the stops of little towns along the way delighted them as much as the variety of spirits. Slivovitz, anyone? They disembarked in Budapest as their ship continued on to Istanbul, thankfully without them due to the chaos there at the time. They especially loved Prague, but German beers were the most fun to sample.
