Wow of a send-off

Friends dressed in turquoise, feathers and fringe at a happy hour at Vicky Dyer-Smith’s home to send Connie Senter to Albuquerque, New Mexico. Connie’s Mah Jong, poker, gourmet-cooking and Hadassah friends were in line to get a date on the calendar to visit her. Among a few cowboy hats, Connie Reddy wore a suede dress of fringe, Vicky Dyer-Smith wore a feather headband and fringed skirt, and Sharon Maloney wore a headdress of feathers. Evelyn Leightman just returned from Santa Fe with New Mexico stones around her neck. Frances Rubin supplied the cake that said “Hasta La Vista, Baby.” Connie already has a full calendar through the end of the year in her new home but won’t miss the girls’ trip to Dripping Springs this month.
