Take a trip back in time with The Heritage Society’s Annual Candlelight Tour this holiday season.

Happy Friday! Here are some events to look forward to this weekend.

Kappa Kappa Gamma’s Charitable Holiday Pilgrimage

Tour four beautiful Tanglewood and River Oaks homes decorated for the holidays this weekend as part of Kappa Kappa Gamma Charitable Foundation of Houston Holiday Pilgrimage 2016. Proceeds go to local charities.

Christmas Village at Bayou Bend

Get in the holiday spirit at Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens’ Christmas Village, which includes carolers, Santa, a snowball-play area, holiday treats, art activities and live reindeer. The Christmas Village opens on Saturday.

Rudolph Fun Run

Head to CityCentre for the 6th annual Rudolph 5K Fun Run, Dasher 10K and Cupid 1K on Saturday.

Holiday Fun at Hermann Park

Enjoy breakfast with Santa on Saturday morning (reservations required) and then celebrate the holiday season on the Hermann Park Railroad for the Holiday Party at Kinder Station. The party includes arts and crafts projects and face painting.

The Heritage Society’s Annual Candlelight Tour

Travel back in time through Houston’s history at The Heritage Society’s Annual Candlelight Tour on Sunday. There will also be children’s activities and performances.
