City of West U's Arbor Day Celebration

The City of West University Place will hold an Arbor Day celebration on April 8 beginning at 9 a.m. at the Recreation Center. This celebration is held in conjunction with the Parks and Recreation Department's annual spring celebration which also begins at 9 a.m. Residents are invited to come by the Recreation Center to meet and talk to the Urban Forester about diversification of the urban forest, adequate growth space and planting appropriate species. Complimentary trees will be available to the first 30 residents to visit the celebration.
