The Junior League hosted the 69th Annual Charity Ball, American Journey, and raised an impressive $740,000 to fund the Junior League’s community programs. Thursday night was a cocktail-party preview, while Friday night’s dinner featured Reckless Kelly, and Sunset Blvd. took the stage on Saturday night. An impressive video filled the walls as the singers and fashion show took place. A wine toss to win wine was popular. Kudos to Charity Ball chair Jennifer Scheifley Roberts, development vice president Amy Dunn and president Shannon Beirne Wiesedeppe. Bethany Buchanan, Melissa Polka and Leslie Bramlett Keyes, decked out in long, sparkly blue dresses, were the lead singers in the “Dream Girls” finale number.
