What a ball
More than 630 attendees attended the black-tie 2017 Houston Symphony Ball: Stir it Up in Vegas at the Marriott Marquis Houston. The ball was chaired by Christina and Mark Hanson and raised more than $1.6 million for the symphony’s education and community programming. Honorary chair Marie Taylor Bosarge, auction chairs Beth Wolff and Farida Abjani, entertainment chairs Danielle and Joshua Batchelor and after-party chairs Candace and Brian Thomas also served on the committee. Upon arrival, guests were transported back to the days of old Las Vegas. They enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while perusing silent-auction items.
