I was in the front yard on a cold night in 2016 when my owner went inside to get a coat. Someone took me into their warm car, and off I went. I’m sure my owner went crazy looking for me. It was an adventure, but they didn’t feed me what I was used to and I got homesick. I missed my home, my owner, my two cat brothers, Bobby and Clyde, and my dog sibling, big adoptive Wheaton Terrier sister Sophie. After all, I had lived in Hunters Creek for 12 years! Four and half months later, the gate was open. I wandered down the street in Meyerland when a nice lady found me. She took me to a vet and had my microchip read – and I was returned to my original owner on her birthday weekend! I found that I had been “replaced” with another two Maltese baby brothers, Maximillian and Martini, and now there are four of us dogs at home. I’ve never been happier! And why is my owner crying?
