Children’s museum gala Oct. 14

The Children’s Museum of Houston will host its annual gala, themed Miami Vice, on Oct. 14 at The Corinthian. Proceeds from the evening will benefit outreach programming of the CMH. Cochairs are Gina and Dr. Devinder Bhatia and Molly and Matthew LaFauci; underwriting cochairs are Caroline and John Harrell (pictured, at last year’s Mad Hatter’s Ball gala) and Rachel and Sebastien Solar. Auction chair is Kelly Sklar, and honorary gala chair is Millette and Haag Sherman. Tables of 10 start at $5,000. See cmhouston.org.
