Halloween Monster Mash Bash

The Children's Museum of Houston hosts three weeks of spooky, festive activities during October, including trick-or-treating, slime-filled fun, a Halloween party and more. 

Something spooky this way comes to the Children’s Museum of Houston! A myriad of magic, mystery and monsters have maneuvered their way into the Museum for three weeks of Halloween! Come partake in spine-tingling experiments, spirit-lifting activities and slime-filled fun during “Target Halloween Monster Mayhem” from Oct. 10-31.  Meander your way through the museum in search of goblins, goodies and goo!

Highlights include: 

  • Set out on a trick-or-treat monster hunt every day from 4 to 6 p.m. on weekdays; 4 to 8 p.m. during Free Family Night Thursdays; and all day weekends through Halloween night!
  • Get slime-soaked during our first open-to-the-public Slime-Off! on Oct. 28.
  • Move your bones to funky tunes at our spooktacular Halloween Monster Mash Bash on Oct. 31 (open till 8 p.m.)
