They had known each other since camp, where they developed crushes on each other, and dated in high school and college. Yet they went their separate ways. The secret to Dr. Jonathan Gerber and Hayley Nadler’s successful dating reunion was that their best friends were sister and brother, so they were always in the same circle of events. A proposal at the Storm King sculpture garden led to their marriage Sept. 16 at Hotel ZaZa. He will begin a fellowship at Texas Children’s in pediatric urology in 2018. Their parents, Bonnie and Gary Blumberg, Lisa and Gary Nadler, and Sharon and Sonny Gerber, toasted the couple with signature drinks champagne bubbleberry and cucumber mojitos before the couple honeymooned in the Maldives.
