Scout and Jacques, age 7

Hey, neighbors! We are part of the Lucas Terrier breed. There are fewer than 100 of us in the entire United States, so we feel lucky to be here. Scout, my mate, was named after the little girl in To Kill a Mockingbird, and I was just named after some French guy. We have lots of energy and are able to go on a daily three-mile walk through the neighborhood, which we consider the best thing that ever happens. Those smells drive us crazy. My dad tries to keep us on a routine, but if he switches up that routine, then we make sure to remind him, whether it be dinner, walking or a bone. We hope to see some of you around town, you know!
