Bunco Group Shares Holiday Traditions

This group of friends first met in Bellaire Young Mothers many years ago and, in more recent years, have been meeting up on a monthly basis for bunco and socializing. This holiday season, they gathered for their annual Christmas party, which includes a gift exchange and the “stealing game.”

The stealing game works like this: participants each choose a number from a hat. Number 1 picks a wrapped gift and opens it; number two can either “steal” the gift from number 1 or pick a new gift and open it. The game continues until the last wrapped gift is chosen. The group has so many laughs with this game at Christmas that they do a repeat in January with a “White Elephant” theme (each lady brings an item from home, often from the back of their closets.)
