Although Anika Jackson met Chuck Redick in February 2017 at his art show at the John Palmer Art Gallery, they reconnected much later with more meaning at an art brunch. In December, while Anika visited family, Chuck sent photos of a self-proclaimed “nothing” art piece he was working on. After dinner on Dec. 29, the couple and Jean Wilson and Alan Lavelle walked to their seats for the Bob Schneider concert. As they passed by an art piece, Anika recognized Chuck’s creation, now with “Marry Me?” inscribed. A summer wedding is planned.
