Memorial Middle School seventh-grader Arianna Pramudji (pictured, right) completed the Aramco Houston Half Marathon with her older brother Zane (on left) and mom, urologist Dr. Christi Pramudji (center). This was the first 13.1-mile race for Arianna and Zane, and they relied on Mom’s advice from her six previous half marathons. The plan was to train and build up miles before the race, but they didn’t get in as much practice as they hoped. It didn’t seem to matter because they all finished strong. After starting the race together, Zane took off and finished quickly. Arianna and Christi ran the entire race side by side and held hands as they crossed the finish line.
